Warren Davies Dental care open during covid-19 crisis 20th March

The practice will remain open  during the corona-virus  pandemic.

The dental advice from the  profession in line with government guidelines  suggests that routine dental maintainance be postponed temporarily.

However we are open to  treat  registered patients who are in pain or discomfort, and we ask them to adhere to the 2 meter rule, and use the hand sanitisers and masks provided. Please do not bring family members with you.

Please phone 01554 774509 for further advise.

CORONOVIRUS UPDATE

Following the recent advice from the Chief medical Officer.
The dental practice WILL BE OPEN throughout this Coronovirus pandemic.
However there are restrictions on what dental procedures we have been advised to do as the Virus is spread through droplets and aerosols.
Aerosols are created in the dental practice whenever fillings, root filling, crowns , bridges and ultra sonic dental hygiene work is carried out.
So to protect staff and patients these have been temporarily suspended.
However, other dental procedures such as examinations , dressings, x-rays, dentures, impressions, extractions and hand scaling are safe to carry out.
Also DENTAL EMERGENCIES (tooth ache) can be
managed as normal.
PLEASE REST ASSURED THE SAFETY OF PATIENTS AND STAFF ARE A PRIORITY AND OUR CROSS INFECTION PROCEDURES ARE STRICTLY ADHERED TO.
We would also advise patients who are characterised as vulnerable such as over 70 years olds , and patients with a underlying medical condition such as cardiovascular disease to refrain from routine dentistry for the time being.
HOWEVER IF THE HAVE A DENTAL EMERGENCY WE WILL SEE YOU AS NORMAL.
